“Port of lands” a vid of a lil trip I took to Portland. Mostly featuring @forestbailey aka the rib breaker and @_ebdz @bds_mnm @softstones @joshmanoles and some random b ballers… jp definitely invented the yin Yang and apparently forest does not like it when he hits all the pins down.

We can’t believe it’s already been five years of data collection; trudging through snow and withstanding blaring summer sun, seasons of standing in the creek and driving up and down the hill, staring at the computer and keeping tabs on files and files… all for the sake of documenting the effects of 🦫 beaver-based restoration of Latgawa Creek.

Big thanks to Vanessa, TUI Ecologist, for heading up 5 years of hydrologic and vegetation monitoring of the restoration efforts in the creek. We are grateful to @oweboregongov and the Drinking Water Providers Partnership for making these efforts possible, and look forward to pulling the data together this winter so that we may share it with others looking to learn and implement Low Tech-Process Based Restoration of riverscapes.

Bout to embark on a bike tour, and naturally, it has me thinkin of the last time I did a bike tour.

These are 35mm, from the summer of 2016, when we rode (with a couple lifts across the hairiest parts) from Livingston, MT back to SLC! That’s thru Yellowstone, thru the tetons, by bear lake and back over the wasatch!
