A 27-year-old woman discovers that drinking her customers’ leftover cereal milk lets her slip into alternate versions of her life, where she has the love, friendships, and writing career she’s been wishing for. Weird, wonderful, and maybe exactly the kind of book I need.

It doesn’t come out until February 2, 2027, but I already want to read it so badly. I’m still waiting on my NetGalley wishlist, Soho Press—please let me into the Milkyverse! 🥣✨

October TBR (better late than never) What is your top October TBR read?

I’m a mood reader at heart, so I only set a monthly TBR intention for books gifted to me by publishers or borrowed from the library. I like leaving plenty of room for backlist thrillers, spontaneous picks, and whatever randomly catches my attention.

So here’s what I’m hoping to get to in October, but we’ll see where my reading mood takes me.
