Some friendships are made on the dance floor and grow more beautiful with time! 💃🕺

Kiran and I started learning Argentine Tango together many years ago. Little did we know that while I would remain student material for life, she would graduate to becoming teacher material! 😄

But Kiran insists she’s simply a dear friend, not my teacher. And what a friendship it has been — surviving all kinds of distractions, situations and the twists and turns of life!

These days, I’m rediscovering my tango with renewed enthusiasm, learning from wonderful international teachers and enjoying the occasional dance with Kiran.

Tango, like friendship, is a lifelong journey. And neither needs to be perfect to be beautiful.

Here’s to many more tandas, laughter, and years of dancing together! ❤️

This was a tanda long pending. Years ago I had promised @sohumsutras Kiran Bajaj - the OG tango queen from Delhi - to lead her. But I still had to grow into my big-girl tango shoes 😅

Finally had several dances with her at this year's Delhi festival. 💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽 We switched roles while sashaying across the floor, and it was lovely.
