Brothers and nephews and birthdays, oh my!

Yesterday my brother turned older than me, per usual, and today my nephew turned a whopping 8 YEARS OLD! I’m not sure how that happened, but I do know something about how he turned out to be as awesome as he is.

During the pandemic, Sean opened his doors to me and I had the privilege of living with him, Noel, and the kids for a little while. As a dad, Sean is one of the most supportive humans on the planet. He shows the kids what greatness means to him and teaches them to strive for just that.

Whether it’s on the track or in class, Brawley is one of the coolest kids around and that apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. He and his sister both do things that I never would have had the guts to try, and they absolutely shred on a race track.

To my awesome family, happy happy birthday, love you guys, and keep on f****** fishin’!
