Muddy feet and fatigued legs for a mighty hero and an incredible cause.🫶 @mountain_girl_gaelyn you put it so nicely today, how blessed are we to be surrounded by people with HUGE goals, taking on the “impossible” and proving that these hard things and big ideas are in-fact POSSIBLE 🫶⛰️ Ending Friday with a grateful heart (ready for rainy weekend rest now 🤣) Stay STRONG @sojolat 💪 ⛰️⛰️⛰️ EVEREST and community champ. @southern_summits_trail_coach I caught sight of a plane up there and all I could think was “if Colleen can brave Tor, I can’t let Cradock down beat me today” 🤣 . . . . . . . . #outeniquamountains #mountainviews⛰️ #gratefulheart❤️ #surroundyourselfwithgoodpeople #trailrunningcommunity

🟢 RMB UTD100 ELITE LIST 100 kilometres shaped by the rhythm of the Giant’s Cup Trail, where the early miles invite flow, but never for free. From Silverstreams the route settles into its stride - winding singletrack, long views and a quiet accumulation that asks questions later. Sani Pass rises in its own time. Then the shift. The exposure of the 12 Apostles. The edge of Khanti Ridge. One final call at Salt & Pepper before the descent draws you home to the Race Village. This is the UTD100. Measured. Demanding. Unforgiving if misread. This year’s elite field brings depth across the board. Different approaches, different strengths, one shared understanding of what this route asks. ELITE FIELD Women 🏔️ Christy Richards 🏔️ Jo Keppler 🏔️ Annamart Marincowitz Men 🏔️ Oli Morris 🏔️ Grobler Basson 🏔️ Skye Clark 🏔️ Ben Hoseus 🏔️ Tembinkosi Sojola 🏔️ Jamie Penfold It will all be decided out there. #UTD #ultratraildrakensberg

🇿🇦 BYU World Team Champs 🇿🇦 It is always an honour to represent your country in any discipline! I was super stokked to once again be part of the South African BYU team for the World Team Champs. 63 countries all racing each other virtually across the world! We had a great team and every runner gave it there all out there The weather conditions were super hot during the day which made the going even tougher! I was happy with my contribution of 25 laps (167km) to the teams score, but also disappointed knowing I have done so much more before, but I really did give it my all out there ! Walking is still a challenge today 🙈. I am super proud of my SA Team 🙌🏻, we finished 32nd out of 63 countries!! We did so much better compared to 2 years ago 💪🏻, and I cannot wait to see what we can do in 2 years time as we all are just getting stronger and stronger at these BYU's!! Well Done to Rapeleng for winning our event and being crowned the new SA Champ - what a brilliant run you had 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼. A huge shout out to Sean from @wannadoevents for hosting this race for us, we really appreciate all your effort that went into organising this event and for us to be part of the world team champs! To my hubby for once again being the best support ever. It is really hard supporting BYU runners....we can be quite demanding sometimes 🤣🤣🤣. To my SA Team mates, you all rocked, it was so awesome to see you again and spend time going loopy with you all 🤗. To all the spectators and supporters that were there to cheer us along all through the day and night, thank-you! And its insane to think that there are still 36 runners from 8 countries still running... Going onto to lap 74 now 🤯. #JustOneMoreLap @bigbackyardultra @backyard_ultra Big thanks to all my sponsors for making sure I race with the best gear and products, I cannot do it without you 🙏🏼: @team_mutual_safes  @my_pvm  @tifosi_sports_running  @vivovitasport  @albaoptics_southernafrica  #TrailAdventure @epicsportsshop  @ecologic_intelligent  @the.physio.lab @ledlensersa @core_merino
