![This Friday! Reno!
Coupla directions you can go if you love reggae. The return of Katchafire (this time to GSR’s Reggae Pool Party).
orrrrrr Sol Horizon, original members of Groundation, playing a Bob Marley celebration/tribute @clubunderground.
This so reminds me of the old days here, when there would be nothing happening for a couple of months at a time, and then on one night, you have to decide which of at least two directions to go! (Only now thankfully, there is more and more happening all of the time.)
[Sol Horizon press release:]
FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 4TH, at 8pm, Sol Horizon brings their Bob Marley Tribute to Reno for the first time at Club Underground for two 75-minute sets of Bob Marley classics. Get your tix below.

We know you have other reggae options that day, and we appreciate your support. This band is serious, composed of 25+ year veteran musicians. This particular format will be an 8-piece band with our 2 female background vocalists. The drums, bass, and keys were original members of Groundation and current members of Mike Love & The Full Circle. It is not to be missed.
Sol Horizon is Sonoma County, California’s best reggae band and Northern California’s premier Bob Marley tribute band. The band was voted “Best Band” in the North Bay Bohemian’s “Best of the North Bay” Reader’s Picks in 2022 and 2023 and awarded the NorBay Award for “Best Reggae Band” in the North Bay 9 times, including the last 5 years in a row and 8 of the previous 9 years. Their renowned Bob Marley tribute pays homage to the global voice of reggae, celebrating his life and legacy through performances of his greatest music. The band continues to expand its offering of Bob Marley classics, from well-known chart-toppers to rarer cuts and versions, mixing in subtle musical interpretations and blazing solos to keep the crowd on its toes. Don’t miss this tribute to the worldwide voice of reggae music!](https://s10.imginn.com/793551184_18621639697054691_1746329169700732877_n.jpg?t51.82787-15/793551184_18621639697054691_1746329169700732877_n.jpg?stp=dst-jpg_e35_p828x828_tt6&_nc_cat=106&ig_cache_key=Mzk3NzgwMTE2MDQ1ODA0NjA3MA%3D%3D.3-ccb7-5&ccb=7-5&_nc_sid=58cdad&efg=eyJ2ZW5jb2RlX3RhZyI6IkZFRUQueHBpZHMuOTY1LnNkci5yZWd1bGFyX3Bob3RvLkMzIn0%3D&_nc_ohc=TP7mpQfsRSIQ7kNvwFU3l8C&_nc_oc=Adr8vV2qCvJzyVnEXfvXFHlNofkY-H9WWK4ET3OX4EXCar0DRxjl9xOwGqEZZ4JAfGNEsxTIFQQCIf1d3Ko_SrwP&_nc_ad=z-m&_nc_cid=0&_nc_zt=23&_nc_ht=scontent-ord5-1.cdninstagram.com&_nc_gid=uO7BLCMzJVoLH8FZ6a1zBw&_nc_ss=7a20f&oh=00_AQP7OHOHe4gaVQUz0ZVoeJpZuq61-r2B1KW0xF_a9KVX2g&oe=6AE5F6AB)
