$Watching @sol_richmond going out hard on his final tournament in the US this summer. 4 years ago we arrived in Florida and followed what I call the “map of madness”, traveling across America, through sub zero winters, heatstroke summers, discovering an America you don’t see on Netflix - the small unknown towns where golf is played in backyard courses to sprawling wild landscapes where deer dart amongst the fairways. Roanoke, WV Streamsong, FL Austin, MN Bridgeport, VA Just a small fraction of places we have never heard of or imagined we would encounter dotted on this map of madness. I thought I was going to watch my son learn a sport. But really I was getting a front-row seat to watching him give not just all of himself, but also the best of himself to this game he wanted to play. Thank you darling. It was wild, mad and fun. I’d do it all over again with you in a heartbeat. Videos and pics in frames 1,2, 8, 9 courtesy of @worldamateurgolftour Day 1, Port St Lucie, Florida, WAGT Will we miss the 4.30am alarm????? My fave sightings: golfer Gators! Birdies! Colourful lizards! More fave golfer sightings More birdies! And the birdie to end the summer of 2026!$
