So, I’ve been working on this film (on and off) for a few months and now it’s so weird to say it’s finally complete.

This project for me, was first just an experiment, and a way to answer the question, “Could it be done?”. Could I actually write and produce something meaningful, despite feeling like nothing but an imposter at the time?

I figured it couldn’t hurt to try. I sat down and wrote a script in a couple of days and looked at inspiring pictures online. Then, I sent it over to one of my professors to get some feedback. In no time, I had a finished script on my hands.

After that, I called up one of my best friends and told him I was making a short film with no budget, and I needed to borrow his house and a second pair of hands for production. He agreed!

I did casting shortly after. I sent out sides to some of my friends at acting school, and casted two of them, and then before I knew it, I had a team for this project!

The hardest step after that, accepting that I’d done it, and all I had to do, was to figure out the story I needed to tell. After months of editing, and re-editing, I finally figured it out and I was able to make something I was proud of.

To check it out, please look over on my @solaceproductions_ page for more info and the link to the film itself. I’ve also tagged it in this post!
