Gracias, Tibi. 🤠 A heartfelt thank you to Alcalde José Luis Candela Galiano and the Ajuntament de Tibi for opening your doors, and your extraordinary landscape, to the El Paso Verse motion picture production. Filming Part I: The Visionary beneath the walls of the Pantà de Tibi, one of the oldest dams in Europe, was a privilege our whole cast and crew will never forget. Few places on earth feel this much like 1880. Thank you for the hospitality, the support, and the trust. We’ll be back. 🎬 #ElPasoVerse #TheVisionary #Tibi #PantanoDeTibi #Alicante No challenge to hard for the incredible @elpasoverse team. Shootout atop the dam. Introducing @solar_buckler as “Sunny Stub” Chasing the light @miguel.el.holandes as Leo between takes @kwame_carlos in his element with 16mm film cameras #bolexh16 and #arriflexsr3 Basecamp for the week. Every angle is epic at this location Scouting days. @ryan_wiik have wanted to stage a scene here since discovering the historic dam many years ago. This was the week. Upon our enquiry during the peak of summer, the mayor José Luis Candela Galiano himself joined us to listen to our request. Big thanks to the ayuntamiento of Tibi along with Maria del Mar Sáez Espí at the @alicantefilmoffice for making this possible 🙏🏼🏜️

Sometimes the best things happen when you least expect them. I was on vacation in Spain when, completely by chance, I ended up auditioning for one of the lead roles in an English-language film being shot between Spain and the US. And just like that, I found myself surrounded by a wonderfully crazy group of artists who love cinema and storytelling as much as I do. This is one of those independent films made with more passion, by people who simply can’t imagine not making movies. And I’ve always had a soft spot for people like that. Somewhere along the way, this incredible crew became dear friends, and I honestly can’t wait for us all to be together again. Grateful to be part of this little-big cinematic adventure. 🎬
