a little change of scenery 🍋 after spending two weeks along the coast i hopped on a very local bus for about 6 hours (although the distance was just over 100km 🙃) - after the unnecessarily long bus ride (which was only about €2) i finally made it to ella, which us a town up in the mountains in sri lanka 🤍 this is at the top of little adam’s peak, a pretty easy hike that i’d say is a must do in ella 🐒

four cenotes to visit in mexico 🌸 one of the unique things about quintana roo & yucatán in mexico are all the cenotes 💦 these are some of the ones i can recommend:
- cenote calavera: really unique as you can jump into it ⚡️
- ecopark kantun chi: a park that includes a few cenotes as well as a restaurant, making it great for a day trip 🍉
- gran cenote: arguably the most famous one in the tulum area, as such it does get crowded but it’s still super cool 🦋
- cenote zacil ha: turquoise blue & very beautiful!!!
when visiting cenotes - make sure to arrive early 💭 i’d say be there as soon as it opens as it gets very crowded during the middle of the day, which really takes away from the experience imo 🦋
