Music 🎧 Mortgages 🏡 & Life 🎥…(Throwback Thursday…)
Some friendships aren’t built…
they’re forged.

Before careers… before families… before life pulled in a hundred different directions…
there was just two kids in a neighborhood figuring it out.

We ran the streets of Glenshire like it was our proving ground—
pickup basketball in driveways,
football in the street,
BMX jumps by the bayou,
and climbing trees higher than we probably should’ve.

We weren’t thinking about legacy back then…
but we were building one anyway.

We fought side by side…
we competed with everyone…
and somewhere in the middle of all that chaos,
we made a decision most people only talk about—
We cut our hands, shook on it,
and became blood brothers.

Not because it sounded cool…
but because it felt true.

And nearly 50 years later…
it still is.

Life changed.
We grew up.
Built families.
Built careers.
Took hits… took wins…

But some things don’t move.

Respect.
Loyalty.
History.

Those don’t fade.

They sharpen.

Happy 50th, my brother Eskander!

It’s been an honor growing up with you…
and even more of an honor standing beside the man you’ve become.

Not everyone gets a friend like this.

I know I did.
