Week 3/4 – Intermediate Heels 🤍 This week we explored musicality and dynamics - not just hearing the music, but learning how to respond to it. We played with texture, timing, intention, and the different choices available to us as performers. The same choreography can feel completely different depending on how you interpret it, and that’s where the magic starts to happen. One of my favourite things about this group is how willing they are to experiment, take risks, and try something new, even when it feels uncomfortable. Here’s a little glimpse into Week 3 🦋 One more week to go and I can’t wait to see how everything comes together. 👠✨ Video edit by @c.remi88 💞 #HeelsDance #DanceTraining #TorontoDancers #HeelsTechnique #DanceCommunity

Still smiling from this one 🥹🌈⚽️ Yesterday @shethecompany & Friends had the opportunity to perform at halftime for the Pride Match, and I couldn’t be more proud of this group. To every dancer who stepped onto that field - thank you for your commitment, hard work, flexibility, and trust throughout this process. You showed up to rehearsals, supported one another, adapted when needed, and absolutely delivered when it mattered. Watching you perform in front of thousands of people was such a special moment 💕 Thank you to everyone who came out, bought tickets, shared posts, cheered from the stands, and supported us along the way. Your support means more than you know. A huge thank you to @afc.toronto for having us as part of such an incredible event and celebration of Pride. Week 2/4 - Intermediate Heels 💞 This weekend we spent time exploring line, flexibility, and what it means to create length through the body while maintaining strength and control. We worked through deep stretches, challenged our end-range strength, and focused on finding those little details that make movement feel more intentional and connected. One of my favourite parts of this process is watching dancers discover new possibilities in their bodies week after week. Growth doesn’t always happen in big, dramatic moments - sometimes it’s found in a slightly longer line, a little more confidence, or access to a range that wasn’t there before. I’m so proud of the work this group continues to put in and the care they’re bringing to their training🦋 Here’s a little glimpse into Week 2 ✨ Halfway through already... and I can’t wait to see where the next two weeks take us 👠💞 #HeelsDance #DanceTraining #TorontoDancers #HeelsTechnique Video edit by @c.remi88 💞

🦋 A little glimpse into The Unmasking. This piece was about becoming - the version of yourself that exists underneath the fear, self-doubt, and all the reasons we tell ourselves we’re not ready yet. Over the 10 week showcase program, these dancers showed up willing to be challenged, take up space, and trust themselves a little more each week. That’s what I’m most proud of. Not just the performance, but the growth that made it possible💎 Thank you to these humans for trusting the process and bringing this piece to life. And while this chapter has come to a close, something new is quietly taking shape… 👀✨ 🎥 @katyspacebird 🧠 @steph_margaret 👠 @_neeesha @gsolk4 @instafairyy @kimmyngng @lu.pachecop SHE - @seliinyarar @larissawang @yanina_mlnch #SHETheCompany #TheUnmasking #TorontoDance #HeelsDance 🦋✨

WEEK 1 🦋 Last weekend we slowed things down and got curious. Balance. Strength. Weight transfer. Alignment. Not just what to do, but why it matters. One of the things we value most at SHE is creating space to explore movement beyond choreography - to ask questions, build awareness, and develop a deeper relationship with our bodies and our training. This group showed up open, engaged, and ready to challenge themselves, and that’s where the magic starts. ✨ A little glimpse into Week 1 of our 4-week journey together. 🤍 Can’t wait to see what unfolds over the next few weeks. 👠🦋 #SHETheCompany #TheSoleHerExperience #HeelsTraining #TorontoDancers #DanceEducation #HeelsTechnique #DanceCommunity #TrainWithIntention
