An eclectic take on Melodic Death Metal
POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
One thing I love about fests is running into people you have met previously. In picture 1 in the middle is Dan of Ice Giant (and more!), and Kadin of Solemn Vision and Oak, Ash & Thorn. In the second picture is Anthony from Solemn Vision. @danny_sailboat @kadintheguitardude @anthonysolemnvision @solemnvision @oakashandthorndenver @icegiant_band @progstorm_festival #progressivemetal #melodicdeathmetal #powermetal

Woke up feeling pretty down today. I’m itching to get back on the road, bummed out there will be no more Solemn vision shows or tours for the rest of the year, but it is what it is, writing new material is more important. Here’s some clips @sraffz took and sent me from my favorite show we ever played.

A long time ago, I remembered I told my brother Aaron for his amazing killer band #SolemnVision should get vinyl and now they finally did it. I am very proud of them. They are assigned to #blacklionrecords and always kicking ass on stage. Can’t wait to hear more new material so show your love and support to solemn vision. check them out on YouTube Spotify. 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🐺

What an amazing few days visiting our friends up north 🇨🇦 with our boys in @solemnvision !! Grateful to share this run with such a talented group of incredible humans. It has been an absolute pleasure to be back in Toronto, Montreal and Quebec City again and we can't wait to be back next time. A special thank you to @chaoticgoodmusic , @theanchoretofficial , and our friends in @alphabootisband for a truly unforgettable performance. Merci, mes amis! 🍂🍁🔥 #visionsofthefall2026 #melodicdeathmetal #solemnvision #melancholicdeathmetal #prostheticrecords

Visions Of The Fall 06.19.26/Toronto,ON/@thebabygtoronto /@inertia_entertainment Where The Light Fades @wtlfband : Heating up Baby G is local black metal band Where The Light Fades. They gave us a gloomy set that the instruments were played fast but still felt slower. They shadowed the crowd with their music, which made the crowd headbang through the set. They dedicated the last song to the guitarists father who recently passed (R.I.P.) @solemnvision : Up next was Brooklyn, NY (not Ontario) melodic death metal band Solemn Vision, who looked crammed on stage. These guys gave us a great sounding performance with crazy instrumentals from everyone and sheer screams from their frontman who was dressed how a Metal Bard should in D&D. Solemn Vision were so great I bought 2 copies of their album Despite The Rise Of The Sun @firesinthedistance : Seeing Fires In The Distance 2 years ago at The Opera House I had high expectations of them and they didn't disappoint. They played their brand of melodic death metal, which was more mellow but still crushed. The band killed it, and the crowd were memorized so much they forgot to mosh till the end. Sadly, due to long songs, we only got a handful of songs. Would be nice for them to come back and play a few others that weren't played this time around. #firesinthedistance #solemnvision #wherethelightfades #metal #deathmetal

@solemnvision | Solemn Vision played an incredible set at The Meadows. The twin guitars played soaring melodies and they brought melodic death metal reminiscent of Be’lakor to a home town show. Hope to see you guys rep Brooklyn again soon ! #horrormetal #podcastlaunch #screamingprojector #solemnvision #deathmetal
