WE ARE AT 75% funded! Next intro is @soleyahtrinity! She was a god send for the role of Grace. Me and the team had spent MONTHS trying to cast this role I was cold calling and dming , emailing folx like it was Wolf Of Wall Street and when @bobbyredcloud introduced me to Soleyah and she sent in a self tape I KNEW we found a star. Soleyah brought so much intention, bravery and compassion to her portrayal of Grace, who grounds the film since she’s the character our protagonist has lost. We needed someone who could make us feel the love our protagonist has for his lost wife , and Soleyah pulled it off. She’s a blessing to our film and I’m excited for yall to get to know her in these clips! We need your help to us make this project a reality Head to our link and bio! Any small gift helps! My first Atlanta Carnival.

Being from New York and born in Trinidad, this experience felt familiar and new at the same time. The music, the energy, the colors, the movement—it reminded me how powerful Caribbean culture is no matter where you are.

I came out with my camera to document the moments, but also to appreciate the people keeping the culture alive and celebrating it so proudly. For me, this was more than an event. It was community, tradition, and home showing up in another city.

Year five of documenting… Atlanta Carnival, 2026.

I’m thankful for every person who has trusted me enough to stand in front of my lens.

To be seen with care.

With love.
