Blind Witness out now !!
- - -

I filmed Blind Witness back in January and finally after some amazing editing and animating it’s out! This short film was so incredibly fun to film and I had an amazing time working with the entire cast and crew!
I want to give a special thanks to the writer/director Chloe for casting me to play Mallory and writing such a silly story!
Shoutout to Mimi for being a fantastic fake roommate and wonderfully talented actress who has so much joy it’s just a pleasure to be around
And shoutout Vincent for playing my very goofy punk boyfriend! He made me laugh far too many times and it was truly a privilege to work alongside him!

Anyway, all that being said, I really adore this film and it was such a blast to portray Mallory. She is so special to me and I love her lots- I hope you all will take a few minutes out of your day to watch the film (LINK IN BIO!) and I hope you enjoy watching it just as much as I enjoyed making it!

SERIOUSLY. CLICK THE LINK IN MY BIO AND WATCH IT!!

A week and a half ago, I got to see my senior thesis, Three of Swords, on the big screen, with a crowd of people watching, and it was the most surreal experience I’ve ever had.

This project started over a year ago when my dear friend @soap._suds lightly bullied me in the correct direction to direct my senior thesis instead of just editing. Throughout that year, I’ve met and worked with some of the most incredible and hardworking people I’ve ever met. I had the absolute honor to lead a diverse crew of people, almost entirely female and nonbinary, to help bring my vision to life. I am so blessed to have had their trust to do so. I know everyone I had the pleasure of working with is going to go on to make amazing pieces of art.

I want to give an extra special thank you to my incredible producers @solfs_05 and @thegardenofhyacinthe because this project would not exist without them! They are so insanely talented. They had to figure out so much stuff that many senior producers haven’t had to deal with before they even completed their first quarter of sophomore year! I never stop being amazed at their drive.

And, of course, thank you to the incredible @banditsontherun for letting us use your songs. They’re the reason this all exists.

While I can’t say post production is officially wrapped, it’s getting damn close. And I’m so excited to share it one day.

Much love!
Caro

I have been so lucky to start getting into BTS photography in the last few months, including one studio film! But there was something special about getting to document the creation of the student film @twoeggsfilm. From the talent and focus of everyone on set (including the two child actors) to the deeply personal story of the director @madisyn_roach, it was a really special weekend! And I finally finally finished editing the photos (I take way too many photos 😓) if you were in anyway involved in the production and haven’t received the Google Drive link to my photos, feel free to slide into my DMs and I’ll send it to you! Also special thanks to @ziplash7 for asking me to contribute!
