What an amazing day celebrating Autism Acceptance Month as the Free Cone Day partner at Ben & Jerry’s in West New York! 💙🍦

The store was filled with so much positive energy, from neighbors showing up to support inclusive employment to families cheering on the autistic young adults who were scooping with confidence.

Some of the most heartwarming moments of the day were seeing so many people choose to make a donation to skip the line, and even paying it forward for other community members to skip the line with them.

We were also thrilled to welcome West New York High School students, who stopped by to see their neurodiverse classmates in action behind the counter. Their excitement and encouragement made the day even more special.

Thank you to everyone who visited, donated, or helped spread the word! We are immensely grateful for days like this that show what can happen when a community comes together.

Halloween in Times Square 💀👹😈

Maison Sound features Solid Goold at @lotusroomnyc on Friday October 31st from 8-11pm.

This Halloween, Solid Goold conjures up a night of funk, soul, and a little mischief. With grooves deep enough to wake the spirits and vocals that shimmer like moonlight, the band transforms the dance floor into a soulful séance. Expect hauntingly good rhythms, spine-tingling harmonies, and a setlist that moves from vintage funk to modern R&B with supernatural ease. Whether you’re in costume or just in the mood to move, Solid Goold promises a night where the beats are bold, the vibes are electric, and the funk never dies — it just rises again.

Join us Monday, August 25th for our first event! A night of new short plays, produced in a collaborative format from writers, actors, and directors. It’s a free event, so come see what we’re all about!

W.A.D. is not just a theatre project. It’s a sweaty, raw mess of creativity.
Every few months, we gather for a no-holds-barred night of one-act plays—wild readings, unexpected turns, bold choices, and a whole lot of Writers, Actors, and Directors shooting their collective WAD onstage. It’s a messy celebration of theatrical experimentation and hot-blooded artistic communion.
But wait—there’s a twist.
W.A.D. isn’t just about letting it all out on the floor. It’s also a competition.
Each event ends with audience and celebrity judge voting: Best Writer, Best Director, Best Actor. Winners are crowned, ballots are counted, egos are stroked, and alliances are made.
