To me, one of the greatest gifts God has given—outside of my salvation—is the privilege of being used by Him. There’s nothing quite like God using you to bring up there, down here. And right now, athletes across Utah are discovering that for themselves.

I believe God is going to do something BIG on our campuses this year—and He’s going to do it through His people. And so many athletes are answering the call and stepping up to the plate. I can’t wait to see what’s in store. LORD, whatever it is, would you make it abundantly and exceedingly more than we could ask, think, or imagine. Make it so, Father God!

If you’d like to hear more about what God is doing in Utah through the ministry of FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) feel free to call, DM, or text me. I’d love to share and show you how you can partner with us.

As this week begins, many of us prepare to gather and eat and give thanks - around a table.

This is a photo of our 2024 @capitalchurch team and the Mkhomobokati staff. They shared dinner after a long day at a table the team built during the week.

This table was not just wood nailed together that created a place, but a holy space – of community, and communion.

At that table, we are bound together by the grace of Christ, gratitude becoming communal. And we are bound together too by our shared communion in the meal Jesus gave us: Himself.

This Thanksgiving, in our bread and cup, let’s do so in remembrance and proclamation, in joy, dignity gratefulness – and anticipation.

Psalm 23:2-3 He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul.

Thank you Jesus for leading me to green pastures and refreshing my soul. Every time I come home from eSwatini, I come back joyful having experienced how the Lord is working. This time I got to experience it with my sister as we journeyed across the world together to go serve this special community (last pic shows our dynamic perfectly). I am forever grateful for this country and for these people! I can’t wait to see what God has planned next!🇸🇿🤍
