Excited to support Soledad Marcial for Rent Control Board! She is a Pico resident, renter, and tenant advocate already helping her neighbors with bad actor landlords. Check her out! @solmar.garcia solforsantamonica.org

Soledad believes that working families deserve to be able to afford to live in Santa Monica. I am proud to endorse her for the Rent Control Board because I know she will stand up for tenants, uphold our rent control laws, and protect the rights that keep renters secure in their homes. Soledad has demonstrated a deep commitment to serving the city where she grew up and raised her family, and I trust her to bring that same commitment to the Rent Control Board.

Last days of summer with neighbors, over arepas at Café Bolívar and in a backyard full of good people, talking about the Santa Monica we’re building together. Affordable housing, protections for renters, quality jobs, small businesses that thrive, vibrant commercial corridors. Thank you for the warm welcomes and the honest conversations. 💙

Alicia Mignano's campaign kickoff for SMMUSD School Board was a wonderful success. A big highlight was a performance by talented students from Samohi's Legado Latinos. Alicia is truly a community builder and leads by example.

Proud to support my friend, US Navy veteran, California State Democratic Party Delegate representing Santa Monica, and Public Safety Reform and Oversight Commissioner Angela D. Scott for City Council! I hope you will consider taking a look at her platform focused on renters and workforce development and support her this fall! @angelascott4smcitycouncil

Every time my Family gathers it is a reminder of the constant love and support they offer. I'm learning to Let love conquer all so that I can be present and cherish every moment with those I hold dear. Life is precious and fleeting, so I try and make the most of every moment I spend with my loved ones. I can feel the presence of my mother through the laughter and joy as I watch my sisters and nephews dance and celebrate. It does me good to hear them hooting and hollering, embracing the moment. I feel blessed to be able to enjoy the importance of these moments.

Have you ever stopped to appreciate how hard your family has worked to get to where they are? My family has always been my biggest inspiration. We've learned how to cherish and make the most of the time we spend together, thanks to the values instilled in us by our parents, especially our mother.

I hope you're surrounded by an abundance of love and happiness too. And if you haven't been told in a while, let me remind you that you are loved. Yes, YOU! Always remember that. 🙏🏾✨😍
