“POSITIONS OF COMFORT”

performed at @solodanceankara @cermodern last August in Ankara, Türkiye 🇹🇷

Immensely grateful for the opportunity to share this solo, created together with @yannis.brsst.

This piece is very dear to our hearts. It’s a little wink to life : confusing, absurd, sometimes uncomfortable, but ultimately a meaningful reminder that being on stage, with a body able to move and experience, is never something to take for granted.

Grateful for the people, the circumstances, and the body that made this moment possible.

Thanks to the entire team behind @solodanceankara & @cermodern @sude_yucee @denizalp

A beautiful memory from an incredible experience in Türkiye, where I had the opportunity to take part in a solo dance festival and share my art in this wonderful country.

This performance was filmed at a time when no prayers or religious ceremonies were taking place, and no worshippers or faithful were filmed or included in any way.

The mosque appears only for its incredible architectural beauty, which I chose as an artistic background for this moment of juggling . 🕌🤹🏽
I want to express my deep respect for this sacred place, for Islam, for the Turkish people and culture, and for every religion, belief and spiritual path. ❤️

For me, art is a way of connecting people and cultures, discovering different worlds and celebrating the beauty that makes each place unique.

I leave Ankara with gratitude, respect and love for this incredible experience. 🇹🇷❤️

Thank you, Türkiye.
Thank you, Ankara.
And thank you to everyone who made this journey so special.
