50 seconds of a night we’ll never forget. 🥹✨

Our WAVVZ of Stitching Youth Fashion Showcase brought months of creativity, learning, and hard work to life at the Worcester Art Museum. From our young designers taking the runway in pieces they created, to special performances and the WAVVZ Concepts finale. This night was truly about creativity, community, and what’s possible when we pour into the next generation. 🧵❤️

A special thank you to everyone who helped bring this vision to life — our families, models, interns, volunteers, partners, guests, and everyone who came out to support our youth.

We predict denim fabric is going to take the fashion world by storm, and these are some of the designers who will lead the revolution!

As anti-AI pushback grows, eco-conscious fashion designers are going to push back with this reusable, upcycled material.

Solo Jubin- Worcester, Massachusetts
Ghanian-American editorial and bridal designer reimaging denim textures in his pieces.

Josiphiah Michael- Lagos, Nigeria
A luxury couture fashion designer who focuses on reworking denim into sculptural designs and silhouettes.

Junior Beauzile- Paris, France
Originally from Haiti, Junior is creating new streetwear and edgy, and wearable pieces with denim.

Tou MaDe- Montreal, Canada
Tou MaDe is a new designer creating jaw-dropping styles with a raw, real feeling.

ThoughtWeFriends- Hong Kong
Started during the pandemic, designers Helen and Sam set out to make the extravagant punk streetwear pieces of their dreams.

• Colbalt Couture Denim Details •
The third set of looks to hit the Runway Ball stage came from designer @solojubin

The collection was focal on demim; shredded, layered and repurposed into street wear, cocktail dresses and a full length suit that had a hint of his culture staple and signature.

A bold cobalt blue made appearances in an edgy skirt, mid length robe with full flow. Another pattern that popped into the mix was Ferrari plaid for a rustic undertone to the high end stitching and details that were in each piece.
