Meet the BYEN Delegation heading to Dallas! 🚀

Black Youth Empowerment Network is proud to introduce the eight members representing our organization at the BLK Men in Tech THRIVE Conference, October 11–13, 2026, in Dallas, Texas!

Representing four universities and three membership cohorts, our delegates reflect the strength of a national network that brings young Black leaders together across campuses and membership years.

Through this experience, they’ll have the opportunity to connect with industry professionals, explore career pathways in technology, and build relationships with fellow BYEN members beyond their respective campuses.

Meet Our Delegates:

* Aaron Simmons | Alabama A&M University | Spring 2026 Cohort
* Jason Harrell | Alabama A&M University | Spring 2026 Cohort
* Jeremiah Douglas | Morehouse College | Spring 2026 Cohort
* Michael Hairston | Morehouse College | Spring 2026 Cohort
* Dallas Cook | Morehouse College | Fall 2025 Cohort
* Jaden Terry | University of Georgia | Fall 2025 Cohort
* Benjamin Saunders | University of Georgia | Fall 2026 Cohort
* Israel Ford | North Carolina A&T State University | Spring 2026 Cohort

Each cohort represents when these members were welcomed into the BYEN network. We’re especially excited to see members from different cohorts and campuses come together, exchange perspectives, and strengthen the connections that make our national network possible.

A special thank you to Aisha AI, powered by Onyx Impact, for sponsoring this opportunity and investing in the next generation of Black leaders in technology.

Join us in congratulating our delegates as they prepare for Dallas!

This summer, our AUC NSBE members didn’t just take a break—they made an impact.
From engineering internships at leading companies, to research opportunities, international travel, professional development, wellness, and personal growth, our members spent the summer building skills, creating memories, and preparing to become the next generation of Black engineers and innovators.
Although National Intern Day was yesterday, we’re celebrating the incredible interns in our chapter today and every day. Your hard work, resilience, and dedication continue to represent what NSBE is all about: increasing the number of culturally responsible Black engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally, and positively impact the community.
Thank you to everyone who shared your summer journey with us. We can’t wait to see everything you’ll accomplish this school year!

Our first event was a success! Thank you to everyone who came out to our first service event.

We collected over 350+ sneakers
Had over 70 volunteers
Gave out over 500 service hours
6 Brothers
1 Vision
1 Mission

A big thanks to @l.o.v.e.letters21 for having volunteers come write words of affirmation to those in need who received the shoes. As well as @byenhouse who had several members come out and support.

Lastly, we would like to thank @kicks4kindness_ for allowing us to assist their mission of giving back shoes to those in need in the Atlanta area.

Full Ride Family is devoted to serving the AUC community, and the Atlanta community and we will continue to do so in our matriculation here, and hope to leave a lasting impact at Morehouse College.

Stay tuned for more work! #service #community #morehouse
