in this household, we are absolutely #summermaxxing 😌

nothing is more summer than an aperol spritz. will I still enjoy one in december? absolutely. IF i’m drinking, it’s probably an aperol spritz.

i’ve ventured off and tried a couple other @alecsicecream flavors and while they’re good, the brown butter peach cobbler is UNREAL. every time dinner ends, i’m now craving this!

on the trend of fun beverages, i’ve been sippin’ on @coffee.concrete passionfruit matcha, @thetidesmarket 727 sangria deal, and making my own coffee syrups at home.

okay three words. eat. art. love. this place is INSANE. st. pete’s food scene never fails to amaze me. @eatartlove_stpete snuck easily into my top 5 meals this month.

and of course, i must hype up queen @melipona_bakery ✨ not only is she a social media marketing small biz whiz, her pop tarts are delish!!!! + when you order a box, she whips them into hearts. 🧡

what i read this month:

our missing hearts (4 ⭐️). the plot is reminiscent of a handmaid’s tale, where it’s so realistic it’s frightening. an important read with a protagonist that you’re cheering for right up to the end. if you like open endings, then this one’s for you!

pines (3.5 ⭐️). too much world building for my liking, but this dystopian thriller kept me turning the page. i can’t wait to finish the series and watch the @hulu adaptation!

anita de monte laughs last (4.25 ⭐️). loved the multiple pov’s and the relationship dynamics explored.

big swiss (2 ⭐️). i struggled with this one due to lack of likable characters.

the bright years (3.75 ⭐️). the plot was amazing? the writing quality wasn’t fully there for me.

the open door. so special reading a book with st. pete’s iconic hospitality spots mentioned.

how are you summermaxxing?

This is going to be a fun week! Starting off with Yoga at North Straub Park, then an improv show at Burnt Sugar Comedy. Finishing off the weekend with some of my favorite markets, Daydream Market and Indie Flea. #stpetefl #downtownstpete #tampabay #stpeteevents #saintpetersburgflorida
