Hi folks! We have exciting news…

✨ Gentle Studios is moving and rebranding ✨
We will be moving to a fully licensed studio space in Chinatown!

Thank you so much to everyone who got tattooed at Gentle these past 2 years. We’ve made so many lasting memories and friendships 🦋

You can now find us at #205 - 475 Main Street as Slowside Tattoo Studio.

Can’t wait for a summer filled with flash days, community events, and creative workshops with y’all 🥰🌸

Follow @slowside.studio to get to know our artists and join us as a guest artist!

❤️❤️❤️

See you soon 👋😊✨

Hello! My name is Sol (they/he). I’m a queer tattooer based in “Vancouver” on unceded xʷməθkʷəy̓əm, sḵwx̱wú7mesh, and səlilwətaɬ land.

At the moment, my inspiration comes primarily from nature (animals, plants, bugs, you name it) and vintage illustrations sourced from old books! However, I’m inspired by a wide range of materials outside of this scope and am always thrilled to chat about ideas if you have a fun concept in mind!

I started tattooing in 2021 and am self and community-taught. I really value creating safe and accessible spaces in my practice, please feel free to let me know of any accommodations I can make (silent appointments, fidgets, etc.). I’m constantly so unbelievably grateful to be able to do what I love, thank you to all that have supported my art!! I can’t wait to join Gentle Studios this April & hope to see both new and familiar faces there!
