Love that you get to try a ton of different flavours with their mini salt breads! OG and pandan kaya was my fave. The bottom is crispy and buttery, which is what I like in a salt bread. #yvrfood #vancouvereats #yvrfoodie #vancouverfoodie #richmondbc

I don’t talk about it enough, but I am genuinely obsessed with bread - so obviously I had to try the viral salt bread. That perfect balance of sweet, salty and buttery gets me every time, and the **Korean garlic was easily our favourite**. These salt rolls are made by a small-batch baker in Richmond, BC, with each order baked fresh. They have a soft, buttery centre, a lightly crisp exterior, and a menu that goes well beyond the classic — from **Dubai pistachio** to a luxe **fig salt roll**. If you’ve been looking for Korean salt bread in Richmond or Vancouver, this is your sign. So I checked Solte Rolls & Bee’s Cupcakery. They’re both micro businesses in Richmond and orders can be directly placed with them on Instagram! You guys already know we’re doing our best to support small businesses and both of these women make some amazing goods out of their own kitchens. Bee’s Cupcakery just recently got back into baking after taking some time to focus on her family. She makes cupcakes, cakes and other baked goods so make sure you guys check her out. Her Ube cupcakes are unreal! Solte Rolls was my introduction into salt bread and since then, I’ve had a bias to buy hers over anyone else’s. I love the salt bread and the flavor choices are some of my personal favorites. Highly recommend getting her assorted boxes because honestly, the variety is awesome and they’re all great! Keep supporting small businesses, everyone! It’s incredible seeing people live their passions and we have the ability to help them live their dreams so let’s do that! So I tried Solte Rolls. They’re located in Richmond and orders are available by DM! It’s been all over social media and I never was sure about all the hype on “salt bread” since I never tried it but I’m not trying to have FOMO so here we are. Guys.. I’ve been sleeping. SALT BREAD IS DELICIOUS. Buttery, soft AND crispy at the same time, it’s just such a treat. I got to try an assortment of flavors, all of which I enjoyed but I have to say that I’m an Ube bias and a Pandan bias so I’d have to say those two are my favorites. There are some great savory flavors as well and I thoroughly enjoyed the Korean Garlic flavor they have! Solte Rolls is a small business run by the friendliest, most kind woman I’ve met. She bakes out of her own kitchen and makes each roll with love. When I asked her what made her start her business, her answer was that her kids love it and I gotta tell you guys, nothing warms my heart more than someone who does things simply because of their family. Please please please go and support her, she absolutely deserves it! Make sure you guys follow me for more eats and cool things to do. See ya later 🫶🏾 Thank you Solte Rolls for my first taste at salt bread, you’ve set a high standard!
