A recent session with Solve and Amy in Sarasota, FL.

A few years back I was heavily into the digital art space and helped create a project called “Punk Portraits” where we imagined what it would be like for the famed @cryptopunksofficial to leave the blockchain and come to my studio for real life portraits.

We made 1000 different images and Solve was one of the biggest supporters of the project.

He’s gone on to not just be a patron of my art, but also to become a friend. Recently him and his fiancé visited Sarasota where Amy was performing as the lead voice in a performance commemorating the 25th anniversary of September. 11th.

They invited me to not just come enjoy the performance but to also snap some pics beforehand.

I can’t be more grateful for getting to meet with them for the first time off the internet, enjoy some incredible music, and celebrate their engagement!

Here’s to the future and congrats guys!

Before we embark on this weeks celebrations we wanted to reflect on last weeks’!

Many many thanks to everyone who showed up and made it one of the most successful nights since opening! @bodega_beans @josepastorselections and @pmwinedistribution really turned it out with these fresh wines, and Chef Houla’s pairings along side them - IYKYK!

Can’t wait for the next takeover with Chris and PM!

Thank you @brooklynartsongsociety for keeping art song very much alive in this world. It was an incredibly rare and moving experience to have poet Rae Armentrout and composer Herschel Garfein in the same room speaking to the process of bringing poetry off the page for the west coast premiere of the song cycle “Background Information” this past weekend in San Francisco. Thank you to all those who participated in the event - I am changed every time I experience art song, as performer or audience member.

THE COOK-OFF world premiere at @nashvilleopera was a cheesy good time! Couldn’t let Thanksgiving get here before I memorialized this delightful cooking-show opera created by the brilliant and witty @markstephencampbell and @shawnokpebholo with visionary direction by John Hoomes @turnngo and Dean Williamson.

Thanks to my wonderful cast mates @emilypulley @irvinbaritone @rehannathelwell @jehuciotenori__ and my dear companion @solvemaxwell for making the time in Nashville a delight!

My heart is full. 🤍🤍🤍

Stand up taller. Work harder. Be louder. And make sure everyone knows you're doing it.

You're going to walk into serious rooms with your heads held high. Chins up. And if anyone tells you that you don't know what you're doing, that's the con, nobody does.

We have work to do.

We have promise to keep.

Today is a new day for Albuquerque. iykyk.

Sooo much love and thanks to everyone that was a part of Moustachio Bashio Quince! The costumes were incredible, all the bands crushed it, the house party was the best i’d ever seen it! The Best In Show contest was epic. (We’re always trying to improve the contest, if you have ideas. I’d love to hear them!) Visuals, production, and sound were dialed in and super crisp. Thanks to the production team, MW staff, and the happy helpers. Let’s do it again 3/29/25 for the Sweet Sixteen, “She’s all grown out” photo cred @ashleyroseturner… full photo album coming soon! Mad love, your dude -Landorock
