Meet Miranda Stephens, aka @phillyhummusgirl!🧆

A hospitality lifer with Lebanese roots, Miranda grew up with Middle Eastern flavors at the center of everything — food, family, community. After years working in the industry, she’s now channeling her background in hospitality and marketing into Philly Hummus Girl full-time, sharing the dishes and traditions that shaped her.

And yes — her mezze boards will be featured at our 5th Anniversary Sunday Supper next Sunday!

We asked Miranda about a few of her favorite things around town so our community can get to know her better:

Favorite cocktail?
The Verdant at @graceandproper 🍸 She’s usually more of a wine person though, and swears the list at @royaltavernphilly is underrated.

Best bite?
Soft shell crab at @provenancephl — still thinking about it. Winter comfort pick: spicy pepperoni from @dannydsphl with sesame seeds baked into the crust and extra sauce. No notes. 🍕

Favorite neighborhood?
Depends on the season: Italian Market in the spring, Rittenhouse in the fall, Fairmount in the winter, West Philly in the summer.

Goal for 2026?
Show up more for organizations doing meaningful work in Philly’s neighborhoods.

We had a great time making this LemonCo Cornish Hen. Gave it a nice brush of whipped tomato butter, roasted it up with thyme and rosemary, and let the oven do its thing.

We brought the dish together with the beets, broccoli, and green Shishito peppers.
