Find me in NYC for Pride this weekend and on Fire Island for July 4th. Playing the main room at Zero Chill last year ended up being a turning point for me. I was only two months sober and had a string of gigs beforehand that left me feeling disconnected and questioning whether I could even still do this. I genuinely thought it might be over. On paper, it also wasn’t “my” gig. I’m not exactly known for five-hour closing techno sets in a massive warehouse. (Berlin… take note. Book the techno version.) Momma was tweaking internally! But that night reminded me that sometimes the loudest voice in the room is the one in your own head. And she’s usually wrong. It was affirming, and a reminder to trust myself again. We’re unchoppable! NYC really is the moment, and I’m happy to be back.
