Introducing our first guest performers!

Meet Somes @somes.studio — a duo formed by Sora and James.

They come from an urban background, mostly influenced by Hip Hop and experimental styles. Through their artistic journey and exchanges, contemporary dance has inspired them deeply and encouraged them to evolve their movement language.

In their performance, they explore the theme of nature and its slow disappearance caused by human actions over time.

We don’t want to spoil too much… but trust us — it’s going to be something special. Make sure you come and experience it with us.

Audience tickets information coming soon!

Yours truly,
Perform.Berlin Team

We are delighted to present the special duo @somes.studio and are very excited about their participation in our event.
It will be the first time they present their work on our stage, and we are thrilled to welcome them on February 7th at our next show.

SOMES STUDIO was founded in 2023 in Berlin by dancers Sora and James. Coming originally from the urban dance scene, they specialize in hip-hop and experimental dance while also exploring contemporary movement. This journey led them to develop a unique movement language that merges elements of both worlds.

Their “SOMES” Movement Concept combines urban dance foundations with contemporary styles, creating a distinctive artistic expression shaped by the strong connection between the two dancers.
