8 years ❤️ To every tribe member who has been in, out, continuing, and to those who have left a brick behind in building this ever-evolving space, thank you.

We are grateful for every hardship, setback, hard drive crash, and every moment that made us pause, rethink and realise that there is still so much more potential within us.

And most of all, we feel blessed for all the possibilities we have been able to create, experience and discover along the way.

Here’s to the tribe, the journey, the lessons, the possibilities and everything that is yet to become.

Eight years in. Still building. Still becoming. ❤️

Proof that the best creative teams aren’t built on resumes, but shared chaos.

Introducing the core team not through corporate titles, but through their unhinged everyday quirks.

One bowl of anonymous prompts, zero warnings, and instant call-outs across desks.: from the person with a reference for literally everything to spontaneous midday salutes.

Tell us you don’t want a desk here. We’ll wait.

This year end is a weird combination of ‘oh fuck, khatam bhi hogaya’ and ‘Arey yaar khatam ho raha hai’

My 2025 was exactly how I wanted it to be, eat, sleep, work, repeat with a small milestone achieved. No drama, no adventure bas simple si Zindagi.

Although everything was collapsing in the world around me, from values to structures, technology to humanity. I tried my best to stay unaffected, but how to not burn with rage when innocent people are being lynched, families are being ripped apart, rapist and murders are being set free, more people prefer war over peace, and then there is the comment section of all these posts filled with heartless dumb fucks! 😒

Jitna darr lag raha hai 2026 se unti hi umeed bhi hai.

Umeed ek aur saal ki, filled with people who love me, travelling across as many parts of the world as I can.
Umeed hai kuch naya seekhne ki, nayi opportunities ki.
Aur as usual… andha paisa 😂
Baaki toh Ganpati Bappa hai hi! ♥️

Happy new year! 🥳

What is the Mumbai spirit? Getting the job done and carrying on despite all odds? Inuring yourself to the hardships all around? Or at its core is it about being open-hearted?
Amrita’s story is as much about working women who make Mumbai tick as it’s about new kinds of work Mumbai offers. But to me it is really about the Mumbai spirit. Her protagonist Sayli’s ability to care, fully and fearlessly is quite exhilarating. Maybe Sayli will get her own book?

Kind when convenient, generous but transactional, casual but self serving - Speedboat offers a clear-eyed view of noblesse oblige as practised by Mumbai’s elite. But what happens when a recipient wants more? Raghu’s short story in the new Mumbai anthology ‘The Only City’ plays out on the sea and toys with a tantalising what if, as it gets closer to shore…..
