The project that keeps on giving!… A few days ago I received a copy of “Hi-Vis:Ten Years of Public Art at the Buffalo AKG Art Museum”, which features mural I did as part of a residency in the small town of Springville, NY (which was sponsored by the Buffalo AKG Art Museum). Painting the mural was a great experience on its own, but I’m really humbled and honored that this project continues to live on, and now in print! The museum also had an accompanying exhibition, and I as lucky enough to be asked to come out and provide the soundtrack for the evening. I got to play a second, equally fun and special gig the next night at a local gathering spot, and of the 40 hours I was in Buffalo, I was playing records for 12 of them! A true meeting of my passions and a really incredible and special opportunity. I want to thank (I don’t think I can ever do it enough) @_here.not.here for his support over the years, and @jeffmace and all the Buffalo peeps I’ve been fortunate enough to meet for making me feel welcome! I don’t take any of this for granted so thanks again.
