Hi friends, I’m Olivia!

I’ve been a wedding photographer for four years, and somehow, each year gets better than the last. It’s such a joy to connect with kind, like-minded people, create, and do what I love

When I was younger, pursuing a creative passion didn’t seem sustainable. I put my camera aside for years to pursue a “realistic” path, only to discover that God had different intentions for my life. It’s been quite the journey from my first photoshoot at nine to where I am now, but I would do it all again to be right here with you!

Outside of photography, I live for an adventure. I’m the friend who will plan a week-long trip with a full itinerary in two hours. I find solace in nature, love a good hike, a craft latte, live music, and my cutie pup 🍃🫶🏼☕️

the girl behind the stitches

coco is the sweetest soul + the most talented artist. as a knitting content creator on tiktok, this session was inspired by her weekly “WIP wednesday” series. I wanted to capture her in her element, while also styled in her work

my personal favorite sweaters by coco were gifted to my baby girl at my shower. two sweaters knit with yarn hand-dyed in the very town she’d be born in. the kind of thoughtful that gets me every time. so thankful for those tiny heirloom pieces + memories with my perfect friend

Had the sweetest branding session with McKinzie recently ✨

We rented this beautiful studio for the morning and had so much fun creating images that felt warm, natural, and true to her. McKinzie is an EMDR therapist, so we wanted the photos to feel inviting and calming while still showing her personality and the heart behind the work she does.

I always love getting to photograph people doing work they genuinely care about, and this session was such a fun one to be part of 🤍

we almost didn’t take these photos and now they’re my favorites from the shoot!!

we were down to the last few minutes in the studio before cleaning up and when I looked at this vase to put it back I could just see the photos in my head. such a great reminder to myself to not stay so tied to the shot list that you forget to look around. some of the best photos come from spontaneous creativity🤍

A little behind the scenes of why BeeZee became so much more than a business to me.

I started BeeZee as a creative outlet during a really difficult season of life. What started with one little sweater for my Zoe eventually turned into a business I never expected to build.

And honestly, through the hardest parts of the last few years, having something to make and work toward has helped keep me grounded.

There were days when I couldn’t control what was happening in my personal life, but I could sit down and embroider a name.

I’m really grateful this little business found me when it did 🤍

I’ve had this account for years and recently realized that I’ve NEVER introduced myself on here, so HI 😊 I’m Bel, the face behind belsnapshots!!

I have been doing photography for over 5 years now in West Michigan! My photography business really kicked off while I was attending MSU to get my B.S. in neuroscience. Since graduating from MSU this May, I now work full-time as a Neurotech allowing me to pursue my educational passion, while also getting to follow my creative passion with photography!
