I’ve had nifty pedal up Monte Alban this morning (1900m) to see the amazing archeological site.
I was a bit underwhelmed when I first got there, until I turned a corner in to the plaza and was then absolutely mind blown by the whole thing. I love ancient structures, and this one is right up there. What an amazing place to visit.
Google maps had me at it on the way up though, it took me on something of a character building route including a dog shit alley with more IED’s than Afghan road block 💩💥💩
I took the main road back down 😂

My awesome @sonderbikes Evol ready for @transierranorte in Mexico.
It’s a real shame that this bike has now been discontinued; I think it’s one of @sxneil greatest creations. It’s an absolute beast.
Race ready now with fresh Maxxis tyres, DMR Deathgrips, and new Shimano Freeza Icetech Rotors and Pads.
It’s also going to double up as a bikepacking rig for a few weeks after the race is done.

Bristol to Baku ...sort of..

Bristol to Hull via France, Belgium and the Netherlands.

Approximately 400 litres of sweat,67 ice creams and an unreasonable amount of fun.

Hot, sweaty, slightly delirious and ridiculously wonderful. Just a few mates pedalling towards Azerbaijan with no way to get in, apparently.

A film tour, but make it a bikepacking adventure 🚲

67th in the 🌍

A wonderful part of the world & finally a world champs ride that I’m content with.

An infernal pace from the gun in the elites (and not being the lightest rider 😅) meant that this was essentially a 5hr time trial, but was nonetheless a great experience & the Aussie crowds were fantastic.

Finally get to experience a Ti bike, and hopefully a lot more riding with my son now I have an MTB again.

Standard build but initially with a Pathfinder carbon rigid fork (Rock Shox Recon also bought but I'll see how it rides rigid first).

First upgrades - @bikethomson stem, a few @hopetech spacers in orange, an @arundelbike bottle cages and a @tailfincycling mini cage mount
