Jack and Charles of @sondermediums invited me on their YouTube series, Review Print, to talk about our work together on the short for Underwood NA ( @underwoodnonalc )

I don’t know which was more fun, creating the spec together or reviewing it. Check out @sondermediums on YouTube, like and subscribe, and stay tuned for more from Jack and Charles! I’ll throw the link to the full video in my stories and in my bio.

He hut? Studio? Blank canvas? Whatever it is, we’re making room and the Foreman pictured is brutal.

Filmmaking/video creation is a library of skills. At least for me. This is probably self induced, but one moment I get to pull the creative book off the self and dream about what a piece can be. The next, I need to pull the scheduling book to figure out how to prep/scout and film in three days with no take backsies in an active construction zone. Then the fun book, budget, is always there watching and lurking. Those numbers need to be present for creativity to grow and even though they can feel limiting, it’s really just a problem in need of solving. It’s always a balance to make sure I capture what the project needs, while holding the creative line, and directing all my collaborators, pre to post, while staying in the allocated budget. Yaaaayyyy MovieFilms!

Below are stills from my most recent project with @wheelhousemedia and @burson.global for @ford about @Louisville Assembly Plant which is currently being retooled for the upcoming Ford Fathom. Pretty awesome to learn about and help communicate how Kevin Young designed and worked with the LAP folks to create the Universal EV Production System. Credits are below for all the lovely humans who I collabed with to get this to the finish line.

I'm late! I missed #timelinetuesday 🎛️ - things have been busy. But! While this project isn't out yet (and I seriously can't wait to share this one, the team killed it) here is a little sneak peak at the timeline. 🤫

It was a biggin', and I did a full DX restore, SFX, GFX, Foley, and more work up, PLUS an original score for the whole thing.

Also... I haven't forget about sharing my template. It's still in the works!

Happy Wednesday, everybody!

It's #timelinetuesday and I'm completely unprepared so here's a little snap from the cottaging desk setup from the other week! I have some posts in the works, just need to get around to... well, making them. Happy Tuesday!

Writing with @xlnaudio #addictivedrums @uaudio Anthem and other synths (I love the UAD stuff).

I’m posting a lil early for #timelinetuesday 🎛️ with another small peice of the #filmscore from the @vcfoundation spot me and @johnjmilleriv - collectively known as @sondermediums 🎥 - made earlier this year for their fundraising gala.

I really did love working on this spot, and I just love how it turned out - not to mention it’s for an excellent cause. Community colleges are extremely important higher ed access points for a lot of people - I started at one and it lead to me being able to get my masters! 📚

Collaborating with our peeps at VCF was genuinely a great time, and we can’t wait to do it again.

Plant Shop 805 is owned by three siblings who have a passion for plants. Growing plants and selling them in their Ventura shop comes from a deeply personal and creative place. In this video Co-Owner Thomas Baker-Rabe sums up the wonder of plant propagation and hybridization like this: Seeds are magic.

Many different types of beautiful babies were born in 2023. It’s as difficult to recap as it has been to grasp. May 2024 bring you peace, prosperity & profoundness. Thank you for all the love this year. I am gratuitously grateful. Ok. Here we go. #newyear
