Since the first Day Of Truth and Reconciliation (DTR), Walmart has been selling these shirts in honour of it and donating the earnings to charity. I’ve bought one each year in honour of DTR and to donate as well. (I think I missed this year though. 😓)

The Catholics who did this to those poor Indigenous children— ripping families apart, shaming their culture, and torturing and even killing children— are absolutely horrible people and can’t possibly call themselves Christians. 😤

God created the Indigenous people, complete with their beautiful, unique, and interesting culture, and therefore He loves them. While He would love it if they worshipped Him, their creator and sustainer (I think Indigenous people would be wonderful Christians because they’re so good at worshipping, honouring, and respecting deities, so us Western Christians could learn a thing or two of them!), He wouldn’t torture them to do so or command Christians to torture their fellow humans into submission either. 😡

then we never forget the atrocities of the past, and strive to do better in the future to honour the first peoples of this land.

With the final episode of SM&L having aired this week, I’m feeling reminiscent and looking back at just how wonderful of an experience it was. This show was easily the best 4 years of my career and that’s simply due to the how the cast and crew showed up for each other everyday and took joy in what we were coming together to create. I’ll be forever grateful that I got to work on a show that couldn’t be described as anything else but family.

To my main guys in red capes and blue pyjamas, a brotherly villain, scuba boy, space mom and all the others in and out of super-suits, I’m thankful for you!

SPOILERS FOLLOWING⚠️
This week on Superman and Lois we did something pretty special, and I’m not just talking about the historic storyline of Superman revealing his identity to the world. You may not know that in that scene, we actually used members from our real crew as the crew on the fake set!
It was a really incredible moment that we got to give thanks and showcase the people that really made this show happen. The people of this crew weren’t just my work family, but my friends who I grew up with for the past four years of my life. Their dedication, work ethic, and perseverance bled into every frame of SML and gave us the behind the scenes environment conducive to create a show like this given all of the circumstances that restrained us.
There are so so many people not on this post, and that didn’t make it into this scene of the show, but man I’m happy we got to do what we could to shout them out.
I miss you all with my whole heart.❤️
