hi friends :)

Thank you so much for joining me on Saturday for such a wonderful emotional night! I truly had a night to remember and I hope you all did too. Though it may be the end of Eden, I’m still around and will be continuing my Latin night every last Friday of the month at @dorothydownstairs ❤️💙🤍 I’ll be playing more salsa this time around so I hope u join me for a smooth and sexii night.

I won’t be on Instagram much from here on out as I’ll be taking a little bit of a DJ hiatus, save for my monthly Dorothy residency and a few other nights in October (including a new launch at California Clipper!) and @angel.fluid in December + March. Mostly, I hope you catch me in the real world!

Thanks for being a friend 💘 xoxo, Jenny

I want to take a moment to shout out and highlight @honeyshot‘s work on her world-building research paper, “How to Build a Latin Music Scene.” I am always so honored to be included in such projects, imposter syndrome like a mf lol but I have known Tati for a few years now, even before she started to support me at Eden. And now, our friendship has culminated in the documentation of history all through Tati’s brilliance, kindness, and consideration of my vision, along with that of so many other Latin creators across the country. What a thought to be included, really! :’)

When I started I didn’t really know what I was doing. Only that I wanted to create something that didn’t exist before me. Something that honored the music I grew up with and how it continues to evolve. Something that allowed for mistakes :’) something that connected people through love, bass, and the present moment ❤️‍🔥

and how fitting before we say goodbye to Eden on Sept 19. I hope you’ll join me for the final one (and all the frickin tears that will come with it!! ) But if not, I’ll be around .. and we can cheers to *ALL* the work that’s being and been done, because us girls have truly created the new generation of Chicago’s Latin music scene !! 🥹🥂

Thank u again tati 💟
