We are also focusing on catching the trash before it hits our streams and becomes even a bigger problem. Join us today as we attack S. Tis the season for organizing stressful Christmas photos 🔒🎅🏻✨ Super grateful for my Colorado Springs crew ❤️ Missing @mikaelamayer but 4/5 is a Christmas miracle in and of itself. #tistheseason #coloradocrew

October 9th, 2022 - I completed 57 of the 58 Colorado 14ers. Mt Eolus was simply too snowy last week. Pikes Peak was supposed to be my finisher and while it’s technically not the 58th, it’s still my personal finisher.

When I was kid, I came to Colorado for a junior gymnastics competition. My dad took me on the Cog Railroad to the top of Pikes. 20 years later, the journey comes full circle.

I started the 14ers during the COVID lockdown when I couldn’t train. As so many people who take on this challenge will tell you, it becomes so much more than a series of adventures in the mountains. It becomes a story of growth; a parallel to the challenges of life.

From the highs of winning National titles to the lows of injury on the precipice of the Olympics Games, this outlet has remained steadfast. To pick me up when life felt so unfair, to humble me when I thought I knew more than I did and to show me how much beauty there is in the world if we venture outside of our comfort zone.

Thank you to all my friends who think I’m crazy when I say I have to leave at 1am to get to the trailhead. Thank you to the friends I’ve made along the way who probably saved my life a few times. Thank you to my coaches who understood how much it meant to me (cardio definitely skyrocketed). And thank you to Colorado for the experience of a lifetime. 🙌🏼🏔️🥹
