One year of a.sense. One year full of creativity, music, passion and a bit of madness. A huge thank you to the DJs who took us on this 12-hour sonic journey, the artists whose creations travelled beyond their original context, and everyone who worked behind the scenes and kept everything flowing. Most of all, thank you to everyone who showed up, shared these moments with us and became part of the story. This is what makes it all meaningful. One year in, and many more memories to create. See you soon. 🖤 clicks: @jay______mg & @yavrhs

The exhibition “Places we go” by @sonkastuck is available on view at @barvolta.se until 30.10 The works presented explore escapism as an active psychological process rather than a passive retreat. Between comfort and disorientation lies a territory where identity can dissolve, reform, multiply, or remain unresolved. Curated by @vvaselek

Two more art pieces unfolding in two separate rooms at Kummelholmen. Both will exist just a few steps away from the dancefloor. On October 10, you can move between them, the music, and the rest of the building, each room changing what you encounter next.

Join us for the opening of ”PLACES WE GO” by Sophia Ammouri at @barvolta.se Escapism is often dismissed as withdrawal a refusal to confront reality. This exhibition ”Places We Go” proposes a different reading. Here, fantasy is understood not as avoidance, but as a parallel method of survival: a space where the mind negotiates pressures that reality alone cannot contain. The evening’s lineup features poetry by sara__rad, a live performance by @eplei2187, and dj set by @pbeatgirl & @brendakakor . Join us at @barvolta.se on October 2nd from 20:00 to 03:00 <3 Opening: 02.10 at 8PM-3AM Location: Brännkyrkagatan 71, Stockholm No RSVP needed.

I was going through my street style shots from Stockholm Fashion Week the other night, trying to get a gallery out to a client, edit for my own portfolio, and answer three emails about invoices, all at the same time. Same story as always. That’s kind of the ‘unglamorous’ truth about this job. The photos are the part people see. Everything else, the galleries, the invoicing, the portfolio updates, happens in the cracks between shoots, usually on four different platforms. So when VSCO One launched in 60+ countries, it was hard to ignore. I’ve edited in VSCO for years, but this is different. Editing, client galleries, portfolio site, studio management, all in one place. These images are from the most recent Stockholm Fashion Week, all edited in VSCO. Street style is still my favorite thing to shoot. There’s something about catching people mid-moment on the street, where the outfit, the attitude, and the city all collide for a second. Let me know in comments if you’d like the photos and I can send you the link. If you want to give VSCO One a try, my link below gets you $75 off. https://refer.vsco.co/betsey57 Curious how the rest of you handle it, is your workflow living in one place or spread across a bunch of different tools?
