Art, food & a whole lot of good. 💙

Opening this week at The Corner Store Gallery @paletteforgood brings together 13 talented local artists and some of Orange’s favourite food personalities to celebrate our region’s incredible creativity, food and community, all while raising funds for local food relief and rescue organisation @foodcare_orange

Join us this Thursday 15 October from 5.30pm for an evening of original art, delicious bites from our featured foodies and @desaliswines all for a good cause.

This year, Sonny Day has been paired with Richard Learmonth, founder of popular winter pop-up Loop de Loop Soup to create a one-of-a-kind artwork inspired by their story, their food and their place in our community.

Sonny has transformed that inspiration into an original artwork that will be exhibited and auctioned in support of FoodCare on October 15th at the Corner Store Gallery.

We’re so excited about what this collaboration has produced and can’t wait to show you!!

For the past few weeks, something special has been happening behind closed studio doors.

Thirteen local artists have been creating original works inspired by thirteen much-loved food businesses and institutionsfrom across our community.

We’ve seen some early sketches, paint-covered studios, creative sparks and a whole lot of excitement - but we’ve been keeping one very important secret.

Who was paired with who.

Not for much longer.

Tomorrow we’ll begin revealing the pairings that make up Palette for Good, before sharing the finished artworks in the lead-up to our October exhibition and online auction.
We can’t wait to finally let you in on what everyone’s been creating.

We’re thrilled to invite you to the opening night of the 2026 Palette for Good exhibition!

Join us as we showcase 13 incredible artworks created by our featured artists, celebrating the culinary personalities, much-loved institutions, local produce and landscapes that make our region so special. There’ll be a small selection of shared bites from our wonderful local foodies, beautiful wines from @desaliswines and plenty of community spirit.

Original artworks will be auctioned on the night, with all profits going directly to FoodCare Orange. We’d love to see you there!

🦈🌼 “Bright Orange Well” explores how ideas move, evolve, and shape our lives. The shark represents the journey of an idea. The flower marks the moments worth holding onto. Together, they remind us to pause, reflect, and smell the flowers.
