Before there was a finished film, there was this.

A desert.
The last light of the day.
A group of people I love dearly, like Forever ❤️‍🔥

And the feeling that we were about to make something together.

These are some of my closest friends, and some of the people I’ve been lucky enough to create alongside.

I remember filming this and feeling genuinely excited. Not because I knew exactly what the film would become...

but because we were there.

Together.

Making something that didn’t exist yet.

That’s one of the things I love most about making films.

You start with an idea that only exists somewhere inside you, and then suddenly you’re standing in the desert with the people you love, watching the sun go down, and that idea begins to become real.

This is a little glimpse into where All the Things the Wind Took in California began.

I’m incredibly grateful for these people. ❤️

Families, what a Beautiful day it is today 🙏🏾❤️‍🔥

Some projects stay with you long after the work is done.

Anne & Jan is one of those projects for me.

I had the privilege of producing this film with an incredible group of people, and it was truly one of the most beautiful creative experiences I’ve had the opportunity to be part of, for real for real ❤️‍🔥✊🏾

A very special thank you to Misunderstood Rooster and its creators for trusting me to be part of bringing this story into the world.

There are some people you meet through filmmaking who remind you why you chose this path in the first place.

The people behind Anne & Jan are some of those people for me. No question.

I’m deeply grateful for the trust, the collaboration, the conversations, the challenges, the laughter, and everything we built together.

Thank you for letting me be part of this one.

I’m very proud of what we made.

And I’m even more grateful for the people I got to make it with.
Now let us get this Film out to the People 🫵🏾🔥

🎬❤️

Every Tuesday, a trauma support group who call themselves the Bison Bitches meets in a church basement to process, grieve, and chant. Jan sits at the edge with bad coffee and a thousand-yard stare. Across the circle is Anne - thirty-two going on thirteen, a pastor’s daughter who won’t seem to stop talking.

By the time group lets out, Anne has decided: the two of them are going to be friends. Jan can’t shake her.

As the night goes on, a bond forms. Blood is shed. And two women who spent their lives trying to heal, decide they’d rather bite back, as the line between healing and vengeance blurs behind them.

ANNE & JAN is a pitch-black comedy about revenge, friendship, and female rage. . . Please note - our brilliant cinematographer @sonofarich name was accidentally misspelled in the credits of the trailer. The correct spelling is Richie Yau. We have adjusted the trailer and are issuing this correction on social media!!

A new review is in.

BlueInk Review says Northland Frail: Under the Horn of Hearth “breathes with depth and authenticity,” with “rich mythology and careful world-building.”

This is exactly the kind of dark epic fantasy I wanted to write: brotherhood, trial by fire, ancient lore, impossible choices, and a world where the gods feel close enough to wound you.

For readers who want Norse-inspired fantasy with grit, myth, and emotional weight, this one may be for you.
