Believe it or not, I was equally enthralled by the idea of capturing light trails of cars going down the mountain while shooting the Aurora.

As an Lr newbie, was able to edit out a sign in the island.

Cheers!

To Doomsday Gloom! We are honored and pleased to share this gorgeous vinyl and Merch spread with you today. So stoked on how every item came out and We can’t wait for you to hear your records!

Quote from @michael_kadnar:

“One of my biggest goals when I started Silent Pendulum Records was to press Mabus on vinyl. This album had a profound influence on me as a teen and was one of my first introductions into this crazy world of metal and Mathcore.

I still remember meeting Matt Mellon outside the SUNY New Paltz gym to get a copy of the CD so I could hear it and learn the songs for a drum try out. It’s absolutely crazy that one small interaction like this can completely change the trajectory of our lives and musical tastes.

Thank you for trusting me with this pressing Matt Mellon Shane Cashman Patrick Kelly Jr. Michael Biener”

Special thanks to @schermerdave for helping pack all these orders and for taking these gorgeous photos.

99% of orders are packed and We will be dropping them off at the post office in a few days! Still have a few copies left on bandcamp and We will eventually post overpress of the swamp variant in September. Thank you for all the support. 💖

My friends and I wrote this record in a basement 15 years ago. We played a lot of shows. We broke our bones on stage. We got to travel a good deal of the country. We squatted overnight in dark Baton Rouge apartments. We played squatter houses in North Carolina that stole power from the Chinese restaurant next door. We fled Baltimore about some broken glass and made it to VA Beach for the sunrise. We got chased out of Little Rock with a man swinging a hammer. We destroyed at least two ceilings. It was loud and appropriately insane. We traveled in a variety of unsafe vans. One van exploded somewhere outside of Lake George. There was a lot of that. Every night you were thankful for some fast food that some band merch paid for — and enough gas to make it to the next city.

I learned to write sentences in a basement listening to @sonofnothing_ and @matty_mellon build riffs. I’m grateful for all the friendships and experiences that came from this band.

Thank you to Glacial Records for pressing this CD 15 years ago and for putting us on a roster with some of our favorite bands.
Thank you to @mkadnar and @silent_pendulum_records for bringing this vinyl to life.

Follow @silent_pendulum_records for more updates... Vinyl and merch pre-order will open on Bandcamp Friday, April 2, 2021 @ 1pm EST. Digital download is available now at the Silent Pendulum bandcamp.
