Fine arts has been such a big part of my life. I competed in it from 6-12 grade and then coached immediately after for another 12 years. I’ve learned confidence, patience, humility, and grace from it. Peyton and I have written stories that were never about a recipe but were always about what we felt the Lord wanted to share. We have shared stories about anxiety, depression, miracles, forgiveness, the Holy Spirit, and a faithful God. I’m proud of them all.

Each student we have coached has left such a mark on us and this year was no different. I’m so thankful we got to write “Life”, my prayer is that all 10 of our kids would seek the Lord always, especially when life gets hard and feels mundane. He’s faithful, He’s always near, He’s “better than best.”

I’m not sure when or if I will ever be able to truly say bye to fine arts, but it will look a bit different in the next coming years! It’s bittersweet, but I am so excited to see what the Lord has next! ✨

"but the Lord was always with me...in the highs and the lows."

something i've learned this year is that God is always there, even when you can't see Him. and sometimes it's not this big huge moment, sometimes you have to look for Him. but when you look, you'll notice He was there all along. Jeremiah 29:13, "You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all of your heart." through the disappointments (not succeeding in songwriting at districts, thinking Life didn't make third round), and in the success (getting top 10 in songwriting and Life getting 2nd in the nation), God was always there with me. and He's always there with you too, sometimes you just have to look a bit harder.

special shoutout to jaci and peyton: thank you guys so much for coaching me these past couple years!! i will never ever forget the lessons you guys have taught me or the amazing people that you are. you guys pour your hearts out for the Lord in all that you do, and it is so evident through your videos and the impact they make on people. although i'm gonna miss you guys my senior year, i was so honored to be coached by y'all these past couple years.

Super proud of all my babies who graduated from Trinity last night. This included my first grade babies from 2013 🥹😭 and all my lighthouse babies from 2022! Congrats!!!
