When I wrote this song it felt like all of my emotions were going through it - all of my happiness, nostalgia, and even a little bit of melancholy. I truly believe our feelings are tied to water - by the way our tears fall when we cry, or how we act a little different on full moons since the moon controls the waves and we’re 70% water 🤭
I read that once when I was little and it stayed with me forever :) also I was making this music video while on Pisces season and i just let it all flow 😜 -

Also that’s what the song looked like to me- big waves / both good and bad

I’m a water being and I think it’s my truest form - Mermaid Man’s Daughter 😚🐠💦🌊💧🐟🐬🐳🐠🚿
