The door is usually closed.
And that’s exactly the point.
Because when it opens — decorated on either side, the aisle ahead of you, your guests already waiting — the walk from this room is phenomenal. There’s a drama to it that you don’t get when everything is already visible. The closed door builds something. Anticipation. Excitement. The feeling that what’s on the other side is worth waiting for.
This is ceremony area two at Son Sampol — a really beautiful, intimate space that works exclusively as a ceremony space. Drinks and dinner move elsewhere afterwards, which actually gives each part of your day its own distinct moment rather than one space trying to do everything at once.
The ceremony gets to be just the ceremony. And it’s all the better for it.

Venue Fridays 💚

One of those venues that instantly feels elegant whilst still keeping that warm Mediterranean atmosphere Mallorca does so well.

What makes Son Sampol especially interesting from a planning perspective is how well it works for larger weddings without ever feeling too overwhelming or impersonal.

The venue can host celebrations of up to 160 guests, including a beautifully integrated covered option for up to 140 guests, which gives couples extra peace of mind when planning a destination wedding abroad.

There is also on site accommodation available for around 10 guests, perfect for close family or the wedding party to stay together during the celebrations.

A timeless option for couples looking for a more refined and classic Mallorcan wedding aesthetic.

The ceremony is done, the nerves are gone, and it’s time to capture the crew in full force. 🥂
This is how you document the post-ceremony energy in Mallorca.

Happy Friday lovebirds

Here’s what happens when it rains at Son Sampol and you get inventive with the ceremony space.
Candles — properly fill it with them. Ghost chairs. The doors that are usually closed swing open. And the walk from that room into the ceremony space is phenomenal.
The result is something genuinely, unexpectedly beautiful. The kind of atmosphere you cannot manufacture in a purpose-built venue. The kind that only exists in a space with real character and someone willing to see the potential in it.
Plan B at Son Sampol is not a compromise. It’s just a different kind of beautiful.

Aperitivo, a staple and highlight of any destination wedding.

The bit no couple wants to miss because of photos- so they didn’t!

Instead, Em & Jonny spend quality time catching up with their favourite people around the pool, enjoying a fully personalised canapé & bar menu.

Flowing cocktails, canapés and food stations featuring Mallorcan favourites to set the tone for the rest of the day.

Son Sampol have a permanent tent on-site. Always there. Always included. No panicked phone calls on the morning of your wedding, no extra line on the invoice, no scrambling. It is just there — and it can extend if you need more space.
Inside it, you can do your entire wedding. Ceremony, drinks reception, dinner, the whole thing.
But here’s my favourite part. The indoor ceremony space — yes, Annie did describe it as feeling a little bit like a dungeon, and she stands by that — becomes something completely extraordinary when you get inventive. Fill it with candles. Bring in ghost chairs. And I promise you it will be more magical than you can imagine. The walk from that room is phenomenal.
Rain on your wedding day at Son Sampol? You are going to be absolutely fine.
They’ve literally got you covered.

When you marry a couple who are your inspiration, you’re surrounded by delicious vegan food and finally get to meet those two cute little Dachshunds, Mash & Olive!

And at one of your favourite venues in Mallorca, the tranquil @sonsampol. Bliss!

L & J were childhood sweethearts and have been together since they were 14 years old!!

They have the coolest life, on the south coast of Spain, spending their days chilling at the beach, travelling around with their dogs in their cosy camper van and eating vegan food! 🏖️ 🚐 🌱

After 15 years together, the groom popped the question in Yosemite National Park, California! Under the guise of an “early 30th birthday” trip for the bride.

This couple had a lot to celebrate and did it in style all the way!

It was a super personal and emotional ceremony, with laughs and tears in all the right places.

As well as a ring warming ceremony, with rings that went missing minutes before the ceremony! (One to tell the grandkids) 💍 💍 😬

And as always, it wouldn’t have been possible without a great team…

The wedding planner, Elena, and her team at Son Sampol were so on it. They were super tight, calm and composed the whole time and were a joy to work with.

As was….the photographer @iker_larburu_photography and videographer @danielmotaweddingfilm , who had a great way with people, putting both the couple and their guests at ease.

DJ @luisfergondj did a great job with the sound, @majefloralstudio’s flowers were beautiful, @deliciosomallorca‘s all-vegan banquet was delicious and the Loop Band (@loopstreetband) brought down the house!!
