POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

We move with intention, care, and curiosity...

for ourselves and for those around us.
Without words, phones, or egos on the dance floor.
Just music, breath, and real presence.

Ecstatic Dance Oakland is a substance-free, music-led ritual where souls of every background gather to move, release, and remember one another.
A sacred space to come home to your body and feel fully alive, exactly as you are.

Every body, every story, every expression
is welcome here.

Every Wednesday evening @ 7pm
Every Sunday morning @ 10am
Sweets Ballroom, 1933 Broadway, Oakland

Come for the dance, stay for the community.

Coming back from Burning Man last year, I was deeply impacted by playing my live set at the Bijou Tea Lounge. It became a stepping stone towards how we play music today at The Residency. Low seating, connected face to face with the dancing crowd, and the artists. Serving tea engaging in conversations around the table.
Can’t wait to be back and see all your lovely smiling faces so soon…
Much Love 🦢♥️🦢

Saturday - 03/28/26 - @publicworkssf Loft
Welcome Back @arula_artistry for a unique hybrid set, we are so excited to hear you play and sing again alongside @evan_hatfield.mp3 & @itai_music

Arula is a vocalist, electronic music producer, DJ, creative coach, music mentor & sound healing facilitator. She views music & movement as sacred expressions of a universal language; a language that unites and empowers people from all backgrounds.

As a musician and movement artist she values expression as a path to awakening; a gateway to exploring the different parts of ourselves, the light & the shadow, exploring duality as a path to unity.

Her songs are encoded in prayers for the earth and for humanity. Themes of sacred sensuality, earth reverence, collective healing, soil regeneration, and feminine awakening linger in her lyrics. Her work is often inspired by our collective narrative as well as her own personal journey of connecting deeper to one’s truest self by dropping the false stories that we’ve been told; that by releasing our conditioning we step into a greater place of potential & activation.

Grab those tix asap
See you soon
Much Love
