I don’t want to photograph perfect women.
I want to photograph real women.
No heavy makeup. No elaborate styling. No carefully rehearsed poses. Sometimes there’s a little lipstick. Sometimes there’s nothing at all.

I tell every woman who comes to my studio: come as yourself.

Because you’re not going to wear a pair of Coloured Ears earrings only when you’re perfectly dressed, standing in beautiful light, ready for a photograph.

You’re going to wear them with your pajamas.
To meet your friends.
On a date.
To dinner with your family.
While your hair is a little wild.
On a day when you feel beautiful.
And perhaps, even more importantly, on a day when you don’t.

So I want you to see the jewellery on a woman who is living, not posing.

Sometimes I ask these women to tell me something - something funny, uncomfortable, joyful, irritating, deeply personal, completely mundane.

And then I photograph them while they talk.

The smile before the smile.
The expression that appears when they disagree.
The way their face changes when they remember something.
The laugh they didn’t plan.
The silence.
The wildness.

Those are the photographs I love the most.

Because jewellery, to me, isn’t about transforming you into someone else.

It is about seeing more of yourself. And perhaps that’s the most radical thing I can put on social media: A woman, exactly as she is. Raw. Unfiltered. Unrehearsed.

And wearing something extraordinary. This is how I want you to imagine yourself before you own a pair.
Not as a model.

As you.
