today I present to you one of the most inspiring women I have ever had the honor of sitting down and speaking with 💛 the gorgeous @sonyatrax ✨

Always so honored to photograph the people that I encounter on my path 🥹 thank you Sonya for being such a light and for sharing that light with others so that we may follow our own path, always 🫶🏼✨

Photos from February, 2025, with the amazing help of @stephenrochetlopez who captured a BTS video of this entire day, it was freezing by the way, and it was my very first portrait session with NYC as a backdrop 😬 it was a challenge for me 🫶🏼 I hope you like 💛💛💛 but most importantly I hope you get inspired to go out there and do the thing you love doing 🙏🏼 and share itttttt hahahaha, whenever you’re ready 🫶🏼

This ONE reel from @sonyatrax is what sparked the courage to give myself the permission to call this year ✨‘My Year of Experiment’✨and see how far I can get in trying something different.

Realising you’ve spent so long working on something that doesn’t bring you true fulfilment but continuing to do so because it feels ‘safe/certain’ is one thing. BUT giving yourself PERMISSION to explore the wee nudge that you’re meant for ‘more’ even when you don’t know what ‘more’ is, IS A WHOLE OTHER THING 😬

While I had been internally questioning this for a while, it was this reel that made me feel like it was a little signpost from the universe that made me feel like I could say ‘screw it, what have I got to lose’ BECAUSE there are other people out there chasing change too 💘

Happy Birthday to my better half @sonyatrax 🥹 The girl who showed up the day after the heaviest and most sudden loss of my life with flowers, hugs, and love that never wavered. The world and my life are infinitely better with you in them, and not a day goes by that I’m not thankful for you 💗
