TÚ CON EL(LA) 🩵💭

My take on if Frankie’s Tú Con Él was told by a woman…

This was my first time playing with color grading, shooting fast movements, and telling a story with no dialogue. In the 10 hours it took to edit, I thought of a hundred more shots I could’ve taken and things I could’ve done better but I’m accepting that this is all part of the process.

Thank you to my beautiful friends/amazing dancers for creating with me🥹

Directed, shot and edited by: Maya Charley @mayasfilmgarden

Starring: Subin Heo @sooberoo_ , Antonio Zambrano @antoniozambrano_ , Camille Quesada @camiilleq_ and Maria Zambrano

Music: Tú Con Él version by @rauwalejandro

Happy 3 year anniversary my baby ✨AMORA ✨

Three years ago, I remember feeling plateaued and exhausted, but there was this quiet voice inside of me telling me that this was my next move. For the longest time, I thought I had to wait until I felt ready to start something like this… but the truth is, you’re never going to feel ready. Sometimes you just have to take the leap of faith and trust where it’s leading you. I’m so grateful I listened to that voice, because that leap turned into Amora ✨💖

Three years later, I’m watching something I once only imagined continue to blossom into a company I always wished for. These past years have taught me so much about faith, trust, patience, and resilience 💪🏼. Building something from the ground up isn’t easy, but every challenge has shaped Amora into what it is today.

I’ve accomplished many things in dance throughout my journey, but I can honestly say that Amora has been and continues to be my greatest accomplishment. I’ve seen so many incredible teams over the years that inspired me, and I always dreamed of creating something like that for my own dancers — a place where people could feel inspired, supported, and pushed to grow.

But the truth is, Amora wouldn’t exist without the dancers who brought it to life. Whether you were part of this journey in the past or you’re currently part of the team, you are the reason this company has grown into what it is today 🥹

To my dancers, Thank you for trusting the process with me, for believing in the vision, for feeling inspired to join this little team of mine, and for continuing to show up as your best selves. Thank you for helping create a space where we feel safe, where we uplift one another, and where we share what we all mutually love… dance 🫶

Three years of Amora… and we’re only getting started. 🥹🔥

@juliasolis @alejansen @guusiquera @apamlacerda @georgelouzaa @alexcoutinhooficialrj
@sou_mayaralima @pretanascimentorj

Bora treinar 💪🏻🧚🏻‍♀️💃🏼
