Sparco Prime Driver Race Suit 🏎️

Developed for McLaren’s Formula One team, the Sparco Prime suit is one of the lightest FIA 8856-2018 approved racing suits in the world.

The Sparco Prime race suit is built with a lightweight three-layer Nomex® construction, ultra-slim detailing, and breathable double-faced mesh for peak performance on track. Pre-curved ergonomics and stretch panels move with the driver.

TD Scholar Highlight! ⭐️

Meet Soondus, a TD Scholar working with the Rhody Racing SAE Team as their Textile Safety & Apparel Specialist. Soondus is helping design the team’s next race suit- bringing together creativity, performance, and engineering innovation.

This collaboration grew from a project Soondus completed earlier this year, which explored a partnership between Nike and Etihad Airways to create an F1-inspired uniform and business strategy. That experience sparked the idea to apply those same skills right here on campus!

Soondus and the team are showing how TD scholars can turn classroom learning and global research into real-world impact! 🐏💙
