So Young has partnered with @aubillustration @inspiredaub once again to celebrate a selection of graduates from the Illustration course. This year’s showcase brings together a diverse mix of illustrators working across children’s books, comics, packaging, printmaking, animation and mixed media. We spoke to each graduate about the lessons they’ve learnt at AUB, the inspirations behind their work and the projects that have shaped their creative practice. First five here; @sooofraggy @maddiesartroom @mo1ar_tooth @lily_kitten_illustration @kat.petitt

‘Streets meet, just like pages’ it's a project that started with the intention to create a collectively-made fanzine which would collect different impressions and relations with Antwerp: the fil-rouge connecting all the 49 participants.

All of them, with their own very different experiences, contributed to the publication either participating to in-real-life activities, collaborating with each other, or simply sending their own visual contribution. Now, they all ‘meet’ between the pages of the zine. Streets meet, just like pages, just like people.

Thanks everyone who helped in the different steps of the project! In particular: @het_bos team (all all all of you), @de_bosbar for supporting for 4 years the fanzines workshop, @llspaleis for hosting our second activity, @chiaradiluca for documenting and creating amazing videos, @risikopress for printing support, @jocaimo + @jantromp + @leogoris + @karbonkeldonald + @wearevarios for the amazing performances during the launch evening!!

AND OF COURSE, ALL THE PARTICIPANTS:
