Do more things that make you forget your phone!📵✨

Such as replacing cheap junk food “likes & swipes” dopamine with REAL dopamine, best found in 👩‍⚕️:

Sunshine ☀️ Music 🎶 Movement 💃 Connection 💭 Croissants 🥐

As part of the Global Day Of Unplugging Collective, I had the - very honourable - title of representing Australia as the national ambassador for the Global Day Of Unplugging 2026 with eyeConnect as „The Digital Detox Game“ 🎲

Sooo on my mission to “make connections stronger than Wi-Fi”, I’ve teamed up with the sparkle queen Courtney from Rise Disco to create the ultimate superfood blend of nature’s finest dopamine🧬:

A Sunrise Silent Disco at the beach fuelled by eyeConnections’n’Croissants 🪩🎧🌅

Yet, while looking like absolute lunatics dancing the silent Macarena at the beach is all fun & joy, the meaning behind this Unplugging Day goes far beyond👇

(The not so) Fun fact: While we are the most connected generation ever existed online, we are also the LONELIEST generation in history.🚹📖

The reason: Emojis don’t replace real emotions, likes don’t replace hugs and while you can have thousands of Instagram followers you might have no one to call when you need someone to talk to.😶📵

Always „on“, yet, rarely fully present.

So after writing a whole master thesis on “Phubbing - When Touchscreens Make Us Lose Touch” in 2018, then - ironically - ending up on an offline backpacking trip through Nicaragua as my phone got phone stolen on the third day, I realised 🎒:

Life is actually pretty damn good once you look up from your screen! 👀

Because the antidote to (screen) addiction isn’t detachment. It’s connection.

And true connection isn’t found in the quantity of followers, it’s in the quality & depth of the meaningful relationships in our lives - with ourselves & others 🔗

That’s exactly why eyeConnect was born - with the intention to make real humans more interesting than social media, one no-boring question at a time🃏

So let this Global Day Of Unplugging be your reminder to disconnect from tech & reconnect with life.📵

Turn off your phone, grab a loved one - get out your eyeConnect (if you have one) - and share a REAL connection 🛜💕

So much sunrise @rise_disco magic at Bondi this morning ☀️💛

Feet in the sand. Headphones on… Dancing as the sun rose over the ocean 🌊😍

There’s something powerful about strangers coming together and becoming a community… even if just for a morning.

So grateful to collaborate with @nini_quarantini ✨
Rise Disco x Eye Connect brought together movement, music, digital detox and real human connection.

Thank you to everyone who woke up early, dressed to express and brought such amazing energy 🎧💃

Bondi mornings like this are magic ☀️

See you at the next community event! Stay tuned 👂

LIVE LIFE IN CAPITAL LETTERS!!! - Just out here living my best Crazy Auntie life ✌️💖🌈 🇦🇺 #yesvember

Life is too short to wait for the BIG things to happen. 🌠

I believe that the beauty of life lies in finding joy in the mundane. That’s what makes the ordinary extraordinary. ✨

Life just gets much brighter once you decide to get excited about the little things. 🤩🫟

Because if you can’t get excited about a cup of morning coffee - or a bowl of cereals 🥣- you’ll be waiting forever to get excited on a big boat for once.☕️ >🛥️

That’s why - as per annual (Nini-)tradition - I turned my NO-vember into YES-vember. 💁‍♀️

Every day I said YES to ONE thing I’d normally say NO to. 🔄

Not because I don’t want it - sometimes it’s as simple as a “just because”, “I should better save this money”, “I’m too busy”, “I’m too old for this”, “I never do this”, “What if I look like a fool?!” or “We shouldn’t watch six Christmas movies before it’s even December.” 🫠 (YES, we should…and we did! 🍿)

So this month I said YES to (at least) one thing a day that stretched my comfort zone by at least 1% - physically, mentally and emotionally. 📈

Fast forward: 30(++) YESses later - and here’s the verdict of the judge👩‍⚖️👇 :

“Ohhhh the people you meet, the places you go and the opportunities you create! 🚀🤯”

Some things make you feel empowered from the inside out,
Some things make you grow in ways you never expected,
Other times you return back to default settings and get reminded why you actually don’t enjoy this in the first place. 😅 #yeahnah

And sometimes it requires a ‘No’ to others just to say YES to yourself (the most empowering YES of all 🙌 ).

But most of all: Every YES makes you feel MORE ALIVE! 🚀

It’s like once you decide to say YES to life, life says YES right back at you 🪃

Don’t shrink the quality of your life “just because”.

Life expands when you do.

In the end, “I can’t believe I did this!” ALWAYS leaves you feeling better than a “I should have done this.”

So if you made it until the end of this irrelevantly long caption (I thank you 🫡), take this as your reminder to ask yourself next time you want to say No:

Why NOT? #sayyesmore
